Houston Cecilia presents Mozart’s Missa Brevis in D Major, KV 194, a concise yet expressive cornerstone of sacred music. Composed in 1774, this setting of the Catholic Mass reflects Mozart’s early mastery, blending clarity, elegance, and emotional depth. Though brief in form, the work’s melodic beauty and expressive power transcend cultural and linguistic boundaries, inviting listeners to experience the universal language of music.
