Houston Cecilia Chamber Choir presents Lessons & Carols, a cherished Christmas tradition that weaves together scripture, reflection, and music in a celebration of the season. Through a thoughtful combination of readings and choral works, the program explores themes of hope, anticipation, joy, and renewal.

Featuring music that spans centuries of choral tradition, from beloved carols to beautifully crafted contemporary works, Lessons & Carols offers audiences a rich and meaningful concert experience. Houston Cecilia is honored to collaborate with Prince of Peace Catholic Community for this annual presentation, bringing together music, tradition, and community in a program that reflects the beauty and wonder of Christmas. Join us for an evening of inspiring choral music and one of the season's most treasured traditions.

Celebrate the season with Houston Cecilia Chamber Choir's annual Christmas Concert, a festive tradition filled with music, community, and holiday spirit. Featuring beloved Christmas carols, seasonal favorites, and opportunities for audience participation, this joyful program captures the warmth, wonder, and celebration of the Christmas season.

Audiences of all ages will enjoy an evening of memorable music and cherished traditions, including our popular baton raffle, where one audience member will have the opportunity to conduct the choir in Handel's iconic "Hallelujah Chorus." The festivities continue with a special visit from Santa Claus, creating a delightful experience for children and adults alike.

Join Houston Cecilia Chamber Choir for our annual Music Soirée Fundraiser, an evening of music, dinner, and community in support of our artistic and educational programs. Hosted at Café Benedicte, this special event brings together friends, supporters, and music lovers for an intimate evening featuring performances by members of the choir. Guests will enjoy selections from opera, jazz, and Broadway, along with opportunities to participate in a silent auction featuring contributions from local businesses and community partners.

Proceeds from the Music Soirée help support Houston Cecilia's performances, Joy of Singing Scholarship program, student internship opportunities, and Community Is Our Song outreach initiatives. We invite you to join us for an evening of music, conversation, and community as we celebrate the impact of the arts and invest in the future of Houston Cecilia Chamber Choir.
